Process Optimization Engineer (Refinery)

Crystal Industrial Syndicate is accepting online applications for the position of Process Optimization Engineer, located at an operating refinery and is focused on results, projects, processes and procedures related to cost and yield optimization of all unit operations within the refinery operation.

Requirements
  • B.Tech./ B.E / MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related stream.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience performing root cause analysis and driving out defects.
  • Demonstrated project management and/or leadership experience.
  • Proven strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to make effective presentations to a wide range audience including management, technical, and non-technical levels.
  • In depth understanding and experience of either SDLC or PDLC.
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Team Player
What we Expect from you?
  • Facilitate asset strategy studies for new and existing equipment and maintain study results and equipment asset strategies.
  • Taking complete ownership of the deliveries assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Candidate will act as an owners representative, and help manage various capital projects, maintenance, & upgrades throughout the refinery. Manage multiple projects - budgets will vary from $25k to $2M Take the project from cradle to grave - including project set up and kick off, define scope, schedule, qualify and select outside resources, execute and drive action, regulate and track spending and change orders, and complete project installation and commissioning.
